Most health plans will cover the cost of cataract surgery with a monofocal lens. There is an upgrade fee associated with advanced, accommodating, and multifocal lenses.
Some insurance plans offer a benefit on LASIK. However, not all plans are the same. Please contact your benefits administrator to learn whether your medical or vision plan offers a benefit on LASIK.

 A Flexible-Spending Account or "Cafeteria Plan" allows employees of participating companies the option of setting aside pre-tax dollars to use later in the year for a variety of medical expenses not covered by insurance.
